I had an absolutely fantastic experience at The Costume Shoppe in Calgary! From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by the incredible selection of costumes, accessories, and props. Whether you’re looking for something fun for Halloween, a themed party, or even a cosplay event, they have it all. Their variety caters to all ages and styles, and the quality of the costumes is top-notch. The staff at The Costume Shoppe are what truly sets this place apart. They’re not only friendly and approachable but also incredibly knowledgeable. I went in with a vague idea of what I wanted, and they helped me narrow down my options and even suggested accessories that took my costume to the next level. Their passion for costumes really shows, and they make the shopping experience so much fun. The shop is also well-organized, making it easy to find what you’re looking for, and they offer a range of sizes, which can be hard to come by in other stores. On the 3rd of July I was to portray Benjamin Franklin for the US Consulate 4th of July party. I received the costume night before the event, however there were no socks, glasses or WIG!! The wig was a big problem. I went to the Costume Shoppe and spoke with Nic and Allan, 2 of the staff there.They were BRILLIANT!! After a lot of different ideas Allan managed to find the perfect wig for me. We had to trim the bangs off which made it perfect. I'd like to thank them for thier patience and effort to make my costume complete and perfect. Thank you!!!
Picked up an awesome Spider-Man costume here for Halloween, and it was a hit! Great quality, fit perfectly, and looked fantastic. The store had a wide variety of costumes and the staff was super helpful. Highly recommend for anyone looking for costumes!
I just wanted to personally thank Marshall for the help with my vampire caps! I purchased the scarecrow caps refill, and I've never had a problem with them before. I noticed the fluid to mix with a capsule was brown instead of clear but I paid no mind to that. Unfortunately it didn't harden up at all. I called and told them about it and Marshall went above and beyond to not only take the product back that didn't work but help me with a new product I didn't have much experience with using. Thank you so much, Marshall!
5 stars! A big thank you to Nic for being such a great help over the phone, and when I went in-store. It was an amazing experience, and we found what I needed for Calgary Expo next year. Very welcoming environment. I will definitely come back. I don't know what else to say.
