4-star was the first to reply to my request to get a quote. They even arranged and booked a time right from the start. The caveat here is that they wanted to charge me $70 for a service visit to get the quote. In addition, they just assumed I wanted the work done at the same time as the quote. I called them 24h hours before the visit to clarify all this, and the nice lady on the phone waived the service fee and said the tech would just do the quote. Jesse Tompkins came to do the quote. He called ahead and was super professional. The quote took about 45 mins cause he was carefully considering the options. The cost was much more than I expected, but tbh I had no idea what to expect. I think I just wanted it to be $600 when it was really closer to $2800. I accepted the quote with the metal conduit, and Jesse got to work right away. He even went back to the shop to get help. The final job took about 3 hours x 2 people + materials. Jesse even took the time to book the inspector for a future date. Overall I would recommend this company 100%. Just know you will be paying for quality. I didn't see any corners being cut. Check out the pics, I think the final result is great. To the owners. I politely suggest it might be time for a new company name. 4-star conflicts with the concept of a 5-star review on Google. Don't easily dismiss this feedback. If the other companies were faster to reply, I would have skipped over 4-star. Google is how I found you, and it was a debate for me if I go with a 4-star company. Anyway, just my 2 cents. We got a great service at hour home. We was living with one light in the living room and kitchen. Andres and Alex did a great job upgrading with pith lights and new plugs anti toddler. We are really happy to hour first upgrade and we will still doing in the future more upgrades. Thank you 4 star electric!!
This week we had John from 4-Star come out to install a new ceiling fan inside, and a new 'weather proof' GFI outlet by our deck. He explained everything in advance and provided us an 'all in' quote before starting the work. He was professional, efficient, tidy and very pleasant. We had a great experience dealing with John and the head office at 4-Star - can't say enough good things about them. We have been happy customers for years and will continue to call them when we need any electrical work. Great job !!
The excellence started with a call from the office that said that they had a cancellation and that they had a service person who could come within the next half hour. The technician showed up on time and did a very thorough job. He took the time to explain his work and answer all my questions. For me this was a very positive experience. I would certainly recommend 4 Star Electric for anyone who was looking for electrical services.
Absolutely fantastic job and business. Within 1.5 hr of me calling, there was an electrician on my doorstep. Friendly, experienced and knowledgeable. Completed my request within 1.25 hr. I had a quote for 220 v pool install within an hour. Would highly recommend to anyone!
