If you are looking for a hotel with parking, don't assume that you will get the parking spot here.
I even pre-checking, gave them the license plate number, drove 11 hours from Vancouver,
And when we get there they told us there's no parking spot available.
The staff was polite but not friendly
The restaurant, we sat down around 7:45,
My husband ordered Burger, came out around 8:40, The burger was rare even though he asked for well done.
Waiter gave us half price for the bugger.
But wouldve been better if the bugger was the way he order.
The kitchen people were often chatting in the kitchen.
If they focus on working/cooking a little more, they probably notice the burger wasn't cooked enough.
I wouldn't recommend this hotel or restaurant

Wonderful place to stay. Friendly staff. We borrowed bicycles that they have available for use to ride along the river. It was the perfect stay. We will definitely come again.

Room was great. Bed very comfortable. Google chrome on the TV was a bonus.
Location on the river and 5 mins walk to LRT was perfect. 1 minute walk to the cool bars, coffee shops and restaurants of Kensington village and 10 minute walk across the bridge to downtown (or only 1 stop on the LRT). Will definitely recommend and stay here again.

Wonderful little boutique hotel with an excellent chef at the inside Oxbow restaurant. Don’t miss this one! Excellent staff; gracious; courteous and friendly!

Nice small hotel. Room was quiet and spacious, bed was comfortable. We had a nice patio outside our room. Staff were friendly and responsive. The location was almost perfect; right by the river and lots of restaurants and shops.
Our only issue during our stay was the air in our room was smokey at times. This was from the fireplace in the dining room. I'm sure some might appreciate the fireplace, but to me it seems like a bad idea in an urban area, I'm sure their neighbours don't appreciate it it either. If they give up the wood fire I would 100% come back. If a little smoke doesn't bother you, don't hesitate to book this place, it's otherwise excellent.
