As regulars at Side Street Wings, we were really let down during our visit with family on Friday. We ordered a variety of wings, including our go-to salt and pepper, but they came out completely bland with no seasoning at all! When we mentioned this to our waiter, her response was a bit of a letdown too. Instead of taking the wings back, she just handed us a salt and pepper shaker and walked off, which left us feeling confused and wondering if this was a joke. We finished our food, paid and left. It seemed like customer service wasn't really a focus this time. If Side Street Wings wants to keep us coming back, they should really pay attention to customer feedback. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. Edit to owner- We booked a reservation for 6:30 pm on Friday under my MIL’s name - Jackie for 8 people. We were sitting right in front of the casino machines by the doors when you enter. (You enter, where you wait to be seated, if you turn your head right, the first tables immediately to the right where the casino machines are).

The food was so appetizing that I forgot to take a photo. I ordered beef with mushroom sauce and it was fantastic; delicious and massive :))) The poutine’s gravy was great, but the fries were a bit too salty though. Staff were also super friendly and warm. Cheers!
Hands down the best pub I have been to in Calgary. Everything is on point and the food is amazing. These portions are huge and prices are fantastic I have never had bad service nor bad food there. Can hardly wait to try their new pub Offside.
Such a packed little place. The perogys are so good. The service stellar. All around, best place in Kensington.
