This may be the nicest hotel I've stayed at in Calgary! We came to the city to celebrate my birthday with friends and chose this hotel based on its proximity to our activities. Not only was the location convenient, but the rooms were clean, modern, and beautiful and we had a fantastic view of downtown lights including the Calgary Tower. The hotel itself was quiet with the exception of when trains passed by underneath, which is to be expected with the location and was still much more quiet than staying by the airport. We didn't stay long enough to utilize the kitchen but we were impressed to find such a complete kitchen. The lobby was also beautiful and staff were very friendly. After mentioning I was there to celebrate my birthday, they brought a little cake up to my room! The complimentary breakfast buffet was one of the largest we've had at a hotel with a great selection and a huge dining area so there was no shortage of seats. Food cooled off very fast but was still good. Self parking was $30/night which is on par for a lot of downtown hotels, but with the added bonus of free electric car charging (4 Tesla stations and 4 J1772 stations). I can't believe the pricing was similar to lower quality hotels in the area so if that stays the same we'll definitely be back for our Calgary visits!

I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed, particularly with a team member named Sean. His exceptional service deserves a shout-out. He went above and beyond to accommodate my specific room requirements, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay. What really set Sean apart was his exceptionally cordial and friendly attitude, adding a personal touch to my experience. It's rare to find such dedication and warmth in hospitality. Highly recommend this hotel for their top-notch staff and service. Kudos to Sean for making my stay memorable!

Amazing hotel! I am so happy we stayed here and celebrated my birthday 🥳! Clean!! Modern! Beautiful views from the room.Staff is very friendly and helpful. Very easy to walk to great restaurants. That was a fantastic time to spend here with my family. Thank you guys very much for warm welcome 🙏🏻.

The level of service I have received during my stay here is why I will remain loyal to this particular Marriott location and intend to only stay here anytime I'm in Calgary. My first of 10 nights began in a normal room on the 9th floor. As the night went on, a few issues happened to pop up with the room. Basically, the first night was not up to par for a luxury hotel chain like the Marriott. The next morning I happened to have a word with a member of the front desk staff, who apologized for the inconvenience and promised to put me in a room without any of the issues I had faced the night before. Not only did Alexis ensure that I received a room that lived up to the standards of the Marriott name, she went above and beyond and upgraded my room to a Mountain view room on the 31st floor. The kindness didn't end there, as she left a couple treats in my fridge as well. This gesture meant so much to me that when the time came to extend my stay, I chose to remain at this hotel despite the fact that I had more competitive rates at other nearby hotels. As I continue my stay here, Alexis and the rest of the staff have been incredibly hospitable, and as a solo traveler, that really does add to the overall experience of the trip. Thank you, Alexis, and the rest of the wonderful staff at this location. Your level of service is why I will always want to return here when I'm in Calgary.

INCREDIBLE stay. This might be the nicest hotel I've ever stayed at. The rooms are beautiful, with lots of kitchen space and a good-sized living room area. The bathroom is gorgeous, and the shower is very luxurious. The bar/patio on the third floor is incredible, though a bit expensive, and the bartender was friendly. Its location is perfect for downtown nightlife. The biggest downside is that the parking situation is expensive ($30 a night), but there are plenty of parking garages nearby that are much more affordable.
