Velvetanne & Jake were absolutely amazing ! They are both very knowledgeable when it comes to how your dog thinks and learns! They also have amazing patience for us the parents learning how to teach our puppy. Bronco (our puppy) had the best time, he got to socialize with his new friends before starting his classes and learned so much! I can’t recommend them enough!!

I am proud to share my experience with Raising Canine.
When we started classes, our puppy Charlie (shepherd mix) was only 14 weeks old. He is a rescue and we only had him for 2 weeks before we started this training.
First class Charlie was a maniac!! Barking and wouldn’t listen. We had to be put in a separate area so to not disrupt the class. Six weeks later, Charlie was at the top of the class! He didn’t bark, he learned all the commands they taught us and actually obeyed the commands. Plus the last three classes we were in the class with the other puppies with no issues.
During the six weeks, we worked at home with Charlie on all the stuff we were taught in the classes and because of the training we received, Charlie came out a different dog at the end of six weeks. I think we are going to sign up for more classes just cause he is still young and learning.
Anyone considering puppy classes, I highly recommend Velvet & Jake with Raising Canine. I promise you will not be disappointed.

We had a genuine great time doing the puppy class. Jake was unbelievably responsive, thoughtful, funny and clear. We learned several nuances of things we didn't realize we were doing and were really happy with the way the whole class turned out! Thanks Jake for making this process as smooth as it can go with our energetic little friends.
Furthermore I would like to also add a thanks to Raising Canine for making the process clean and safe for everyone. There was no incidents and it was 100% positive. The space was basically perfect vs the size of the class and the dogs in the class were all very individually interesting and enriched the whole experience.

We absolutely love Raising Canine and we love Justine! We have taken both our dogs to classes on separate occasions. We had Justine for both classes and you leave with a new sense of confidence and love for your pup. It is worth everything. The environment is very relaxing and well set up to ensure success for you and your fur babies. The techniques and knowledge you leave with are beyond helpful. You not only learn about dog training and bonding, but you also learn about the dog brain and why certain techniques work over others. I cannot wait to go in again for more classes!

We were excited to enroll in puppy classes with our new dog and the class went well. We learned good skills that we used at home to train our pup. Then, we enrolled in daycare at this facility and this review pertains to the day care. My dog loved going here for many months and made lots of friends, but the staff here cannot handle a dog that is excited and barks. They mainly want older quieter dogs which are easier to care for. Because my dog barks occasionally when excited, they kicked her out of daycare and did not refund $500 of my $600 20 day pass that I bought soon before they kicked my dog out. It's been a month and they still haven't refunded my money. I gave them a long grace period to refund me but that is now expired which is why I am writing this review. They claim my dog was "stressed" but really their staff was mostly just annoyed with my dog who is a fantastic dog and only barks when she is excited and around friends. There were zero behaviour issues, zero warnings at all. On pick up, the staff typically praised my dog other than a few times where they said she was "vocal". The manager didn't even call me when this happened, she had a staff member call who was clearly nervous on the call. This should have been handled by the manager, who also help trained my dog in puppy class. And I should have been given more warning than just one day them calling me to say don't bring your dog anymore and we'll refund you your money (which they still haven't done over a month later). Just very poor handling of the situation all around. Beware if you want to use the daycare and you have a younger more excited dog, they may eventually kick you out.
