Love this light meal. The toasts were grilled crunchy and evenly. Eggalicious contained boiled eggs, cheddar cheese, turkey bacon, Parmesan cheese, and herb. The cheese was stringy as I separated the two halves. I loved this combination, not too heavy. Besides savory panini, they also provided sweet one. Their nuts butter was house made. You could also buy in their store. By the way, they had daily specials which provide cheaper price for their good panini. If you want some light meal, you must visit here! Tasty panini and adorable environment.
One of Calgarys more unique restaurants. Small and cozy. Friendly atmosphere. Super friendly staff. I’ll continue to be a frequent visitor.
Always a nice experience with PB and J! On this occasion, we had the PB smashed burger and the Eggalicious sandwich. Each sandwich's bread was very crispy yet soft. In particular, the PB smashed burger was very tasty - the layer of peanut butter was a nice addition to the ground beef and cheese. The only thing that missed the mark was the Eggalicious sandwich's turkey bacon layer. It was too thin for my liking so difficult to appreciate in the sandwich. The herbs and the parmesan are well balanced and I otherwise enjoyed the flavors. A special mention to their cashew butter - very smooth with a light cashew fragrance and sweetness.
My wife was at Fuwa Fuwa earlier and spotted this neat restaurant. As my eldest loves grilled cheese sandwiches, we came in and ordered the Dan's Grilled Cheese. It was made to order, so it took about 10 minutes. Dan's Grilled Cheese was impressive, especially when separating the 2 halves. The cheese pull was exactly as one would imagine. My eldest gave it 2 thumbs up. I took a bite, and it was cheesy good.
Lovely place in Kensington, not far from the train station. Ordered the Monday special - Eggalicious. It's toasted crispy and even tastes good when getting cold. Sure will go back 😋
