Beryl McNeill is a compassionate, extremely knowledgeable lawyer. She offered new and unique ways of dealing with my family law situation. This made the issue far less stressful and I was able to make rational decisions that expedited a resolution. Thank you Beryl! I highly recommend this law firm!

As a partner in a psychological practice our counsellors and myself refer numerous clients to McNeill Family Law. We do this because Ms. McNeill has expert knowledge of collaborative law, travelling the world to give presentations and always committed to learning the cutting edge information on family law. Moreover she is very knowledgeable about the mental health field and understands the psychological impact of the breakup of a relationship and family. She has helped our clients work through these issues in a way that is healthy for themselves and their children. She has a deep kindness and ability connect and is always respectful of other professionals. Top notch!

When we enter into marriage or a long term relationship we all hope it will last forever. Unfortunately many of us will not see our " forever " dream. Some of us have prepared for the divorce event with pre-nups and marital contracts, still there is nothing that can prepare us for the emotional, financial, and physical toll that divorce causes. It is a very much like a "death experience" only your loved one is still here.
When it happened to me I went into a state of shock and disbelieve and not thinking clearly I did not know where to begin. I was so relieved when a girlfriend suggested that I consider doing my divorce the collaborative way. She suggested that I contact Beryl McNeill, one of the first lawyers to practise collaborative law.
When I met with Beryl she was vey patient with me and explained thoroughly the collaborative structure. She was warm, comforting, compassionate, and gave me valuable advise.
She guided me through the process, helped me sort out my affairs, supported me emotionally. I don't know how I would have gotten through this with anyone else. She connected me to a number of professionals that I needed, and got me through to the end.
Thank you Beryl for all of your kindness, compassion and support. You are a rare gem and I would not hesitate to refer you to friends and family.
