Always expect some sort of line up here but with good reason. The line does move very quickly and efficiently. Lots of unique pastries that you can't find anywhere in Calgary at the moment and well made/flavoured. The art and quality is reflective of a semi higher price than most generic bakery. There hasn't been anything I didn't like so best to give everything a try. They have sweet to savoury to cakey to buttery flakes to sandwiches.

Dang! This place is busy! It used to locate in East Village. This is my first time coming to this location.
Bakery items are all made with delicacy. Roll cakes are always soft and creamy! The croissant sandwich was filled with delicious ingredients.
Drinks - so so only. It’s good but not wow.
They have very limited seating space and it’s hard to sit comfortably when there’s a massive lineup.

I don't live in Calgary, but if I did, I would be a regular at Mari Bakeshop! The choux are amazing. I went at 12:30 pm last Friday and was surprised that there were still so many flavors left - I thought most would have been sold out. I don't have a favorite flavor, as they are all equally good! I haven't tried the roll cakes or croissants yet, but they are on the list for my next visit.
The service was efficient, the ladies who helped me out were pleasant and the space was clean and inviting.

Fabulous bakery! I was instantly impressed upon entering this popular establishment. The baked goods are set in a highly appealing fashion; very colorful and a variety of flavors. Additionally, the customer service is wonderful.
I ordered two choux pastries (raspberry chocolate, and coffee), one coffee roll, two chocolate croissants, and one sausage danish. Everything was delicious 🤤 If I am ever in Calgary again, I'll be sure to stop in. I would absolutely recommend this bakery!

Overhyped on instagram and social media. If you enjoy over sweet cream filling in almost everything and lacklustre pastries then go here. $3.5 for a cold cream filled puff. The croissant was supposed to have almond filling, but it barely had any. Be prepared to have people cutting in line even on not so busy days. If you want real pastries go to Yann Haute Patisserie instead and get your moneys worth.
