Ordered a large order from Uber Eats. Unfortunately they messed up an item by giving Pani Puri instead of Dahi Puri. And in addition, it seems they wanted to get rid of some expired products and provided Gulab jamun for "free", however there is huge mold patches on both the balls. It seems like whoever is packing this food is very sloppy and not able to read the order correctly and also not even looking at their store bought Gulab jamun packages for if they've gone bad or not (which is why I never order restaurant Gulab jamun because it's simply microwaved). Please stop giving food with mold on it! Otherwise the rest of the food was fairly tasty but this order did leave a very bad impression with the two big mistakes. Management needs to be managed better.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Indie, a charming Indian restaurant located near my place. The experience was nothing short of excellent! The highlight of my meal was the Butter Chicken paired with Garlic Naan, which was hands down the most extraordinary combination I’ve ever tasted in Canada. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and I couldn’t get enough of it!
The variety of other curries on their menu was equally impressive, and each one was a delightful journey of spices and aromas. Despite having only 2 tables, the cozy ambiance added to the overall charm of the place. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there, and it’s safe to say I’ll be returning for more delightful meals in the future. If you’re a fan of Indian cuisine, Indie is an absolute must-visit!

Finally got around to checking out this place and it did not disappoint! We were short on time so ordered online and mentioned we wanted to dine in. We arrived and our table was ready for us and food started coming out minutes later.
I wanted to try everything but started off with amaze balls (potato, chickpeas, corrinder) which were fun to stuff and tasty to eat.
Next we had pocket squares (samosas) which were crispy on the outside and a good mixture of spices inside. My wife was particularly impressed!
The Carnival Dunk (pakoras) were a highlight for me, easily the best I've ever had.
For the main meal, we split the Slumdog and Gump. The Slumdog was a Chicago style hotdog with a pickle, sweet onions, chutney, tomatoes and coriander. It tasted good and was an interesting mix of Indian and American cuisine. The Gump was the Indian take of a po'boy which featured large/juicy shrimp and aioli.
My wife has the Mango Lassi to drink which had a strong fruit flavor but could have been colder. I had the Thums Up which is an Indian version of Coke (but tastes better).
Nice little restaurant mainly setup for takeout as they only have 2 tables. We'll be back!

My wife and I don't normally eat Indian, often it is a little intimidating to order it, so we often pass on to other food options. Until we stopped by Indie Counterculture.
WOW.
Food was amazing, and we are SO glad we stopped in. The restaurant and decor is amazing, and the staff was so kind. But the food, we took out, and it was THE BOMB.
We are 100% coming back, highly recommended.
The names of the dishes are kind of awesome :)
We ordered:
The Spud
Slumdog
Bo Peep
Butter Clucker Poutine
Gump (THIS WAS MY FAVOURITE)
Don't miss this place

Amazing! What an interesting Indian fusion menu! The owner, Teresa, sat with us and explained the menu and culture they have created at this place. She is a wonderful person. And it's unique in Calgary ... fantastic food options, freshly cooked, and served by staff that enjoy their job. See pics. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality and quantity. I simply can't wait to be back!
