Returned to Holy Grill for breakfast, hoping for a better experience after last time's disappointment. Unfortunately, the service still leaves much to be desired - you're practically your own waiter! However, the food has improved. Tried the Bacon Avocado Crisp and Eggs Benedict. the former was just alright, but the Eggs Benedict was very yummy and came in a good portion.

I visited Holy Grill this evening and tried the MR. CHICKEN PANINO with GARLIC PARMESAN FRIES. While the portion size was satisfying, the experience left much to be desired.
The MR. CHICKEN PANINO was a bit of a letdown as it turned out to be cold inside, and the GARLIC PARMESAN FRIES seemed stale and low quality.
The service, unfortunately, added to the overall disappointment. There was a lack of attentiveness as no one came to take our order at the table. Instead, we had to go to the cashier to place our order. On top of that, we weren't provided with water, instead, we were directed to a table with glasses and a water pitcher. I poured water for us myself!
Given the combination of subpar service and food quality, I find it challenging to justify the price.

The brunch burger is spectacular. There are a lot of small little things that send it over the top of your average burger; the patty is seasoned really well with salt and pepper and it's super juicy, the red onion is shaved instead of thick slices, the cheddar cheese is high quality sharp cheddar (not that flavorless mild cheddar you get at a lot of other places), and the fresh natural cut fries that come with it are just perfect. It's huge and possibly the messiest burger I've ever eaten, but that just adds to the indulgence of the whole meal (I wouldn't come here on a diet).
Service was friendly and super quick, there was only one other customer there with me at 10:00 on a Thursday, although some more people trickled in closer to lunch time.
The place is no-frills, you order and pay at the counter and they bring your food to you, then it's self-serve for everything else (utensils, condiments, drinks). I quite like this business model, but I realize some people would rather be waited on when going out to eat.

Maybe the staff were having a bad day? I don't know if you can tell this theme from my reviews but I kind of hate feeling like I am unwelcome in a place I am spending money AND expected to tip. The girl on shift this Monday morning that took my order looked annoyed when we came in and audibly sighed when I came up to order. Lovely.
Food was meh. Value was definitely there. Flavors were ok. All of the food was way too wet for us. The fries were super greasy and overcooked. Many flies in the restaurant.

The food was delicious and the fries were to die for! The price was reasonable with amounts of food. We definitely come back again.
