We first came across Cultured Canines 5 years ago when we were looking for treat free training options for our neurotic rescue pup. Their Proper Puppers course was amazing and we were so lucky to have an amazing well-trained dog. Last year we added a second dog to our family and knew Proper Puppers was going to be our first stop. This little girl is a bit of a handful but with the help of Beth and the entire team, we got her into a board and train and the COOL Course. Thanks to the support of Cultured Canines, I have built an amazing bond with both my dogs and have lifelong support through the amazing community they have created. I highly recommend Cultured Canines to anyone with a dog.

The trainers here are amazing! They can help with soo many issues you may have with your dog. We love that it is not treat based training. We took our dog here for the proper puppy class and our little guy did very well. We wanted to continue training so we did their C.O.O.L course, we loved that it is outside and at various locations. Our dog no longer pulls on the leash on walks, he has great recall and is able to be redirected when distractions like squirrels or rabbits are seen on our walks. They go over nutrition and grooming too. Highly recommend this company.

With me being in the industry for over a decade in Calgary, I know that Beth and her team have an admirable consistency and thrive to better the lives of canines. Her reputation shows in all the dogs lives she has enriched and saved with the valuable information, not just with training, but with health, nutrition and the basics of 'common sense' obedience - with items such as socialization and the importance crate training brings in regards to safety and how it allows you to do so much with your dog. She builds confidence and stability in dogs and knowledge and simple steps - for us humans. I took the PUPPY COOL course in Summer 2022 and although I have been equipped with many basics, as this puppy was the 13th dog in my life - I still learnt so much. I also was able to focus on the basics again and Becky - made EVERYONE comfortable. They are calm, confident and never made anyone feel stupid with their questions. Also loved the socialization aspect with the puppies throughout the course and the playtime breaks. In Cultured Canines, you aren't just hiring a trainer, you are hiring a team that constantly improves themselves, to offer you the best, for your dog. I truly believe if all dog owners took this course, the dog community would be a better place.

The team at Culture Canines is amazing! I had their support since the get go with my puppy Rio, and they've helped me so much! They're really knowledgeable and incredibly kind! I wish I could give them a higher rating but Google won't let me, they've really helped me not only fix all the behavior problems Rio had, but also helped me create a MUCH better relationship with my dog!

My dog and I have taken Proper Puppers, C.O.O.L, and multiple barn hunt classes with Cultured Canines and could not recommend them enough. Beth and her staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to help with any questions. They have a great love for dogs and it shows. Proper Puppers was a great mix of socialization with other puppies, learning how to deal with the hardships of puppyhood (i.e. separation anxiety, crate training, puppy biting), and outdoor walks to expose to everyday environments. It was a fantastic foundation to start my relationship with my dog and build her confidence. The C.O.O.L. course was a perfect way to continue building our relationship and expose my dog to so many new environments. I love that all the classes are outdoors. As they were all in different places, each class gave us building blocks to increase our confidence as a team, foster communication, and learn important skills. The invaluable part of this class is their drop-in program for after you've graduated! Training never ends. Having the opportunity to continue utilizing the occasional structured training class has made maintaining our skills simple. After the Proper Puppers and C.O.O.L. courses I have a dog that I feel can handle any environment with confidence. Barn Hunt classes have been an ultimate favourite so far. Beth wants to see your dogs succeed in finding fun and enjoyment in this exciting dog sport. She is a fantastic teacher for this sport and her insights have been incredibly helpful. It has been a wonderful journey to see my dog start from the beginning a little unsure and grow to have fun and show understanding of the game. We have even been able to enter trials, complete qualifying runs, and earn our first title. We are both looking forward to continuing and working toward the next one. We have completed over three years of classes with Cultured Canines, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for help creating a relationship with their dog.
