Brand new defective Bosch dishwasher with a leak (installed by coast appliance tech and paid by us). Coast appliance told us to deal with Bosch directly. The extended warranty we purchased is apparently worthless and doesn’t protect us against a faulty unit.
We purchased a new top of the line Bosch dishwasher from coast appliances in NE and after the installation we realized the dishwasher is leaking from the drain hose.
The installer had already left and we contacted coast appliances and talked to Kory from sales who had helped with the purchase. He said this is above his paygrade to authorize anything and we need to contact coast appliances.
After we escalated the case with coast customer service they told us we needed to deal directly with Bosch. We had purchased extended warranty from coast and the leak happened on the day of the installation on the first use. Cristina Callisto from coast told us that they can’t help since this is a manufacturer issue and they can’t process a return or exchange. Copy of her email: “Thank you for your email. Apologies for what you experienced. The manufacturer requires service the opportunity to repair the unit to their standards or specifications. Unfortunately, we are not able to go outside of the manufacturers policies and procedures as they are the owners of their warranty processes. “
Bosch called a service company and sent a tech and he confirmed it’s a defective unit (video attached). They said they will have to pull the dishwasher out and disassemble it to reach the part to repair it. We refused to have a brand new high end dishwasher disassembled after the first use due to a faulty part.
Considering we had purchased extended warranty and the issue wasn’t caused by us, we were hoping coast would change the unit for us, but they weren’t helpful at all. We are sitting here with a dishwasher that leaks water below our sink and $2700 down the drain.
This is the first and last time we deal with coast appliances. They don’t care about non-commercial customers. If the issue happened with a builder or a commercial customer they would have been all over it. We regret not buying the dishwasher from Costco and ever stepping in a coast appliance store.
Never again…

Did business with Kory Eklund to source a microwave that seemed to no longer be available. It was installed in 2016 when the build of our villa was completed. Kory did a search in his database for us and was able to find a match. He was very pleasant, and extremely helpful and accommodating. It was a pleasure doing business with him, along with the personnel at their office. Product arrived at the warehouse on the scheduled date and was easy to pick up from their warehouse on Ogden Road.

Reasonably good experience on the sales side but the warehouse support is abysmal never anyone available when you show up to pick up your actual order. There’s one poor gentleman trying to keep all the plates spinning any time I’ve been there. Maybe spend a little $$ and hire some extra warehouse staff?

Very pleasant experience with Coast Appliances. Was in the market for a new fridge and saw one online I liked at Coast. Called the store and Harsh helped me out. He made the process super easy, confirmed the details for me and had the fridge ordered without me even leaving my deck chair! Delivery a couple days later was smooth. Crew was clean, punctual and professional and went above and beyond to make sure not to damage anything, my walls/floors or the new fridge. Took the old one away too. This was my first time using Coast and will definitely use them again in the future. Keep up the good work!

I am very happy with this purchase. Great customer service. Loc was answering all my concerns and questions. No pressure buying at all. He is the man with high credibility. I call this wonderful service compared to other places. My friend recommended me to come here and I am fully satisfied.
