The ambiance was wonderfully calming, complemented by great music and pleasant lighting. Each bite of the flavorful dishes was thoroughly enjoyed. The calamari starter, featuring a robust lemon flavor and accompanied by tzatziki sauce, was exceptionally good. For the main course, the lamb shoulder was perfectly cooked, served with a delicious sauce, mashed potatoes, and veggies. The baklava cheesecake provided a unique and delightful experience, showcasing creativity and a delicious taste. The service was outstanding, with attentive and caring staff. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience.

I finally had the chance to come by to this wonderful restaurant for my best-friends birthday dinner and I can truly say that this is most likely one of the best experiences I've ever had in Calgary! This beautiful restaurant had wonderful service with welcoming servers, exceptional food and unique experiences. We started off with the trio of spreads which included 3 fresh spreads made from complete fresh ingredients. Each spread had the most delicious + unique taste we have ever had. The Kefalotiri cheese was just as delicious along with our dinner which included lamb and a chicken souvlaki plate. For dessert we had the Baklava Cheesecake and our wonderful server went above and beyond to include a sparkler for the birthday celebration - this was beyond delicious. The drinks were perfect and each dish had fairly large portions. Every single item tried was incredible! To end our night, we had the opportunity to break plates which made our night even more special. We did not have a chance to meet the wonderful owner but we would sincerely like to thank the team at Broken Plate for such a phenomenal experience. You all should be VERY proud of yourselves for gifting this city one of the best Greek experiences anyone could ask for. 12/10 highly recommend.

Broken Plate has a terrific atmosphere. It's a very nice authentic Greek resteraunt. The service was good. However, some of the dishes were a little sub par I had the butternut squash and shrimp ravioli and I have to say that it was excellent but the serving size was just a little too small.They could also have more vegetarian options.

The ambience is pleasingly bright and comfortable enough. The food is average with prices a little higher than average, in my humble opinion. Ordered the beef short rib that was featured on special and it was good but not outstanding. The calamari appetizer was not to my taste, so found it lacking especially for $19. Perhaps, just my take on what calamari should be like, but I much prefer the calamari at Opa fast food. The mango sorbetto dessert was nice and priced competitively.

I have been multiple times and the service and food is always consistently great. I love the cheese appetizer (they light it on fire at the table). For a main I love the rack of lamb and mashed potato’s or the lobster ravioli. Sometimes I get all 3! Always cooked perfectly! I will definitely be a repeat customer!
