I was with my previous barber for 6 years and made the switch to Cara and am never looking back! She came highly recommended and I can see why - her attention to detail, great chat, and overall good vibes makes getting my haircut an enjoyable experience every time. Cara is incredibly skilled and consistent which is everything you want in your barber. I'm pretty particular with my hair and trusting Cara has been easy & seamless. 100% worth it - best haircuts I have received in my life.

I treated my brother-in-law to a haircut, beard trim and straight razor shave recently and it was our first time to Bateman's. Both the owner, and Gaby were on site and were absolute gems. Gaby, we were both so mind-blown with your attention to detail, sincerity in conversation, and absolute meticulousness. Connor's beard was in desperate need of some TLC and boy oh boy did you ever provide above and beyond that. Unreal. Thank you Gaby! Highly highly Recommend! AND it's in a super neato old grain exchange building! AND they have wicked art/ decor/ old timey barber chairs! AND they have amazing beats playing! AND sometimes theres a dog that visits the hallway outside the shop! BONUS! Loved our experience there if you couldn't tell :) Thanks everyone!

So my hunt for a professional barber that can do a beard trim and cut hair equally as good, has come to an end. I can honestly say that Gabby did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend Gabby at Bateman's. Thanks Gabby! Rob

Cara takes time to properly cut my hair (unlike many places I've been before where I'd be out in 15 mins). She listened to what I wanted, and we are now working on a different hair style (still working because I want longer hair). The place is also very cool, good vibe. And Cara is interesting person to talk to. Great service all round.

Always a consistently great experience here. Cara is friendly and extremely professional. Takes the time to really make it personal and top quality as opposed to churning another customer through the door. Very punctual and an extremely cool set up in an old building downtown with lots of character. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
