I had a very positive experience with Allmakes.
My friend recommended them. They did a good job replacing two struts and bushings/sway bar. They also were honest and told me I didn't need my brakes changed out yet even though a different place told me I should. I still have 35-40% life on them.
They were efficient and friendly.
Used actual Subaru parts as well.

I recently got the dreaded “Check Engine” light flashing on my Subaru Forester. I called Allmakes and even though they were swamped, the rep said to bring it in the next day and they’d see what they could do. I went in and a technician went out to the car right away with his device. He quickly diagnosed the problem, checked the fuel filler cap and reset the error. No charge! It’s been working fine since. Terrific service from Allmakes.

They have some of the best prices in the city on Subaru work and have done a good job whenever I've used them.
Docking a star because I had them do an alignment and they told me that my rear camber bolts were seized, and that replacing them would be $900+ and require taking apart the entire suspension.
The problem is that my car DOESN'T HAVE rear camber alignment bolts. Probably nothing malicious, and the tech who did my alignment wasn't experienced with pre-2008 subies and mistook the bolt for an alignment bolt (which is would be on a newer model), but I take my car to a professional to avoid mistakes like that, so I'm underwhelmed.
It's also a $30 part, and no more than a couple hours of work with the right tools, so $900 seems quite steep regardless.

I've been bringing my Subarus and other cars here for about 15 years. The owners are phenomenal, super knowledgeable, always straightforward, always listen to my concerns. Any quote is realistic but they usually come in under it. Much more cost-effective than the dealerships. Just this week Din managed to solve a problem that had been plaguing my '11 LGT's ABS pump, saving me $2k in a replacement part. Cannot say enough good things about All Makes!

Allmakes keeps Impreza going smooth! Helpful and relaxed, honest, truthful, accurate and fair. Prices at a discount to dealership, for regular service and repairs. "A" checks consistently in an hour with an appointment. Bring your Subaru here for out-of-warranty work. I trust Allmakes!
