About Painting was able to juggle projects and help us with a short turnaround commercial paint job inside a retail store. The crew went above and beyond and actually finished quicker than expected. With a few unique and tricky areas needing to be painted with different finishes About Painting was able to provide solutions, and also educate us on the project, providing explanations on which solution to choose and why. I was referred to About Painting and hired them to paint my apartment condo including cabinets which they took off site (they did the removal and the reset). They did a fantastic job, and made the entire process easy for me right from estimate through to inspection. Although, my job was probably one of their smaller jobs, they treated me as though it was their biggest. I don’t have a single complaint.
The team at About Painting was an absolute pleasure to work with. From quote to inspection, the whole process was painless and worry free. Richard was a pleasure to discuss with during the consultation and quote. About Painting also provides an Interior decorator to help with colour choice and items to paint or leave as is. Our theee storey, 2052 square foot home was completed in ONLY two days. Rory cared about our schedule enough to shuffle some things without delaying other projects in order to fit our schedule. No upfront payment is required by About Painting which expresses their own confidence in their work. An inspector comes through to review the work with you and once the customer is satisfied, payment is then made. This is a very consumer friendly way of doing business. I’d also like to add that the inspector even touched up walls that we had made marks in while we were moving furniture back into place. It may not sound like much, but it meant a lot to us!! We discovered About Painting on the Internet and contacted them. They came to our home and gave us a good proposal to paint a new fence. They gave us excellent advice and recommendation on a product that would work for us with a very good warranty. To complicate the project we needed a custom colour to match our home and they were happy to accommodate this. Their pricing is very fair...they did excellent work...on time and under budget. I come from a design background and am familiar with all of the issues around trying to build and get the work done. They did what they say they would. How awesome is that?
